Head Choice
Which model suits you best? Do you prefer the new MP1 & MP2 models with the vertical cutouts, the best-selling SP6 Aerotech, the DB3 Hybrid, the SR7 Hybrid round based mallet or the Classic SP1 or SP4?
What length of head would you prefer? Would you like a lightweight version (SP6 Only)?
Are you a Golf croquet player, an Association croquet player or both?
Height of Mallet
Standard heights of 34″, 36″ & 38″ are available. Custom sizes from 30″ up to 41″ are available at no extra cost on request. All mallets are supplied with an adjustable shaft that can be easily rotated for comfort.
Have you played with one of your Club's mallets that feels like it is the height you want? If so, make a note of the details or possibly ask another member if you could try their mallet for comfort.
Please Note: The height should be measured from the floor to the top of the handle.
Let us know what grip you play with:
IRISH GRIP = Both your hands are placed with the palms and fingers facing forwards.
STANDARD GRIP = Your top hand has your knuckles facing forward – But your bottom hand has your palm and fingers facing forwards.
SOLOMON GRIP = Both your hands have the knuckles facing forwards.
There is no “right answer” to this question, it is purely to help determine the height of mallet that’s suits your playing style.
Wrapping
Would you like the handle wrapping in a Black, Red or Blue diamond pattern non-slip rubberised grip? (an additional cost applies)
Do you need a Bag?
We have mallet bags available in blue or red which will accommodate mallets up to, and including, 39″ in height
Collection or delivery?
Mallets can be posted within the UK and dispatched to rest of the world; or is it more convenient to collect your mallet directly from us in Heywood or from Bury Croquet Club?

*Mallet weights are approximate based on a 36″ shaft being fitted to the mallet. Each additional inch adds approximately 0.1 – 0.2oz to the overall weight.
Please note: As our mallet heads are of a one piece composite construction, the weight of each model is fixed and cannot be increased or decreased.
The DB mallet grips are a rectangular design, measuring 30mm x 25mm.
The shaft can be rotated to have the 30mm edges parallel with the playing heads or the 25mm edges. Each customer can adjust the orientation of the shaft to their own personal preference, utilising the allen key provided with every order.
